Lazyboy Jobs Help Worthy Charity

Those with Lazyboy jobs are doing their part to help a well-known charity.

At the end of last year, La-Z-Boy agreed to donate one dollar to Ronald McDonald House Charities for every new fan or follower the company gained on Facebook or Twitter, up to $10,000 total. That pledge only strengthened the relationship between the two organizations.

"We want La-Z-Boy fans to help us show support for Ronald McDonald House Charities," Jennifer Sims, interactive CRM manager for La-Z-Boy, said in a statement. "With the help of our social media followers, we can work together to make this a happier holiday season for the families who rely so much on RMHC.

“This is an exciting campaign for La-Z-Boy that matches dollars for fans and followers – it's a very easy way for the public to get involved and give back to a great cause, and all it takes is the click of a mouse," she added.

Ronald McDonald House Charities works to offer a helping hand to families in need by providing a nearby place for family members to stay when their children are in the hospital. La-Z-Boy has been the official furniture supplier of RMHC since 2008.

Ronald McDonald House Charities currently operates a global network of local chapters in 52 countries and regions. The organization has three main programs, including Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room, and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile.
